Often described as one of the few Microsoft Exchange alternatives that offers native MAPI support (the same protocol powering Outlook), SmarterMail also supports EAS, IMAP, and POP3. It runs on both Windows and Linux (including Docker containers), giving organizations flexibility in their server environment.
